Mindset Lesson #3: What Should You Program Yourself With?
Now that you’re aware, it’s time to install a new lens...
I think you’re ready.
If you’ve been keeping up with the last two emails, you’ve proven to yourself that you have what it takes to become free in the mind.
And one might ask “Well, what’s so important about being free in the mind if I’m free in the physical world? Isn’t that enough?”
A free mind enables free thinking. Free thinking enables new perspectives. New perspectives enable new information. And new information…
Enables new and improved ways of life.
Now that I’ve helped you become aware of what programming is…
And how programming works…
I’ll now tell you WHAT to program yourself with to guarantee success.
But here’s the caveat…success is not a one-size-fits-all concept. There may be similarities in ideologies, including financial independence and lifespan longevity.
But the underlying factor in the differences lies in which core values are prioritized.
Fortunately, even with how nuanced this is, I can still tell you MY personal structure and let you adjust it based on YOUR notions of success.
So here goes…
I began my reprogramming journey by first blazing through a period of deprogramming. A period where I evaluated everything I was told to be true.
I asked questions such as the following:
“Why do I believe this?”
“Why is this widely accepted?”
“Where did I hear it from?”
“What was the purpose of telling me this?”
Through meta-evaluating my deeply ingrained beliefs about myself and the world, I’ve allowed myself the freedom to learn why I am the way I am.
Next, I sought new information through the most powerful tool we have…the internet.
I learned from people who had qualities I would like to replicate. Qualities that aligned with MY core values.
I listened to what they said, read what they wrote, and tried to emulate the characteristics that I liked about them into who I was.
This is what YOU should do too. Find people online (or in-person ideally) that you can have as mentors to guide you through different walks of life. Financially, spiritually, mentally, physically, and all.
Besides the internet, books also contain treasure troves of wisdom and knowledge from some of the greatest, most influential people.
This is the third key takeaway that you must internalize:
“Success in the physical world begins with success in the mind through deliberate mental reprogramming by searching for mentors you respect and wish to emulate.”
And with that, the three mindset lessons are now complete. I hope you’ve learned something from this subset of emails!
If you remember from several emails ago, I specified that I’d also be sharing the numerous obstacles I faced and the learning lessons I acquired.
Both of which, I’ll cover in the next subset of emails. So, as always, keep those inbox ears open!
With analysis and perspective,
Meg :)
