Master Your Attention And Conquer Distractions: A Roadmap To Conscious Living
Break free from the cycle of distraction with these actionable steps
Denial is staring you right in the face.
The best way out of the maze?
Distraction.
Which keeps you stuck in the same old cycle.
Throughout the day, on average, we:
Switch tasks 400+ times
Check our inbox 77 times
Last 47 seconds before switching to another screen
Breaking free from this ceaseless cycle is crucial.
Learn how to master your attention and conquer distractions with these 4 actionable steps:
Step 1: To progress, you first need to know your "Self."
Not your egotistic self, your true Self with a capital "S."
The part of you who's fed up with an average life.
The part of you who yearns for more.
The part of you who is seeking a fuller, more unrestrained expression of itself.
That's the part of you that you MUST listen to.
Your ego will lure you back into the "familiar."
You are not your ego.
Your ego is a mask.
A trap even.
That keeps you in this endless cycle of suffering.
Make it your mission TODAY to rip that mofo OFF!
Here's how you can start…
Step 2: Understand your "what."
You MUST understand:
What exactly it is you want from your life
Why do you want it
How do you plan to achieve it
This is a given but 81% of us bail on our goals.
Why?
Because they don't have a fricken' clue what they REALLY want.
They think they know.
But they don't.
And if you keep bailing on your goals, your "WHY" is NOT strong enough.
Step 3: Calibrate your "why."
It's simple, your "why" must:
Align with your core values
Make you feel ALIVE
Require you to grow
If it's not all three of these things…
It does not belong to you.
Step 4: Know how you're distracted.
Self-realization will happen within the context of distraction.
Distraction is what gets in the way of your goals.
What you do in your life will depend on your:
Impulses
Desires
Rationality
Ability to reflect
Distraction gets in the way of all this!
It drowns out that part of you who wants to grow and expand.
You will remain trapped in an unchanging loop unless you acknowledge the factors that divert your attention.
By embracing a degree of uncertainty and discomfort, you gain the power to shape the contents of your consciousness.
Your inner world will inevitably manifest in your outer world.
Do the inner work to make the vision work.
I've just given you a simplified roadmap to awaken conscious living.
A life on YOUR terms.
Take control of your attention and start living consciously today!
With focus and discipline,
Meg :)
