Escaping The 9-5 Isn’t For Everyone
But it may be for you...
I think it’s super safe to say the “internet money” space has been THE hottest topic online for a good while.
Just Googling “how to make money online” will pummel you with information overload. Side hustle this, side hustle that…
Start a dropshipping business, learn copywriting, video editing, coding, etc…
From going freelance to affiliate marketing, the options are virtually endless (no pun intended).
I’m not surprised by the rapid surge in this space either.
If we look at how 90% of people live nowadays, clocking in and out to the same job for decades, following the same daily routine…
Living with no passion and liveliness…
It’s no wonder so many of us around the world are looking for alternatives to the “traditional route” of a 40-hour work week.
People are unhappy. And they want CHANGE.
And change has been gradually happening in the shadows.
Over the past couple of years, there’s been a shift in public perception about the idea of starting a business and making money without a conventional job.
I’d go as far as to say the pandemic 3 years ago REALLY opened everyone’s eyes.
Brick-and-mortar stores closed down and the only options available at the time were through the internet.
And what happens when the world’s population is forced to use the internet unlike ever before?
Opportunities arise, and people get CREATIVE.
Where else in history could you hear about people who moved RANKS up the socio-economic ladder from crypto?
Can you name a better time to be an online fitness coach than when everyone was stuck inside and gyms shut down?
I can’t.
There was no better time to start an e-commerce business or an online tutoring agency than in 2020.
And if you’re like me who, unfortunately, missed this bubble before it popped, there’s still hope.
We may have missed the best time…
But this is the SECOND-best time to act.
Over the next few emails, I’ll be sharing with you a bit about what I’ve learned about online business since I started growing my Twitter and my newsletter.
I’ll be sharing with you:
The mindset shifts I adopted
The numerous obstacles I faced
The learning lessons I acquired
And then some.
Who knows? Maybe you can take some of what I know and apply it to YOUR own side hustles/business.
I’m still a student, after all, but perhaps I can share some keys that can help you along the way.
So be prepared!
With truth and optimism,
Meg :)
